Biblical Principles of Government
The Institute for Principle Studies in collaboration with First Christian Reformed Church would like to invite you and your family to the community-wide “Biblical Principles of Government” course beginning September 4, 2019!
Biblical Principles of Government is a worldview family class taught by IPS President, Mike Winther, which explores the Biblical basis for the proper role of government through the pages of Scripture.
Over the course of 10 weeks, attendees journey through multiple subjects, including:
- Creation vs. Evolution
- Origin of Rights
- Sources of Authority
- Government Principles
- Economics & Morality
- International Issues & More
The goal of the class is to lay biblical foundations and combat relativism, so believers can recognize ethical government action from unethical government action. Thus, correctly discerning right from wrong in the fields of politics and economics.
The course begins September 4th and concludes November 20th. Gatherings are once a week on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-8:00pm. One week will be taken off during the middle of the course. The accompanying course study guide is required.
Please Note: This live course is only taught three times per year and is requested by various churches. Rarely is the course taught in the same city consecutively. Therefore, if this is something that interests you, plan to attend now as no future locations or dates are guaranteed.
