LFA Speech & Debate Tournament
Established in 2008 by the Institute for Principle Studies, the Logos Forensic Association (LFA) is a private Christian high school speech and debate league. The purpose of this league is to expose teachers and students to biblical principles of government in relation to yearly debate topics. Unlike many other high school debate leagues, the LFA is committed to building character and a biblical worldview in its high school students.

Tournament Judges Needed
Volunteer your time to give young competitors valuable feedback! Competitors are in great need of community members to judge speech and debate rounds and provide essential feedback. Tournaments occur throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California.
Would you be willing to volunteer? No experience is necessary! Plus, a thorough orientation will be provided upon your arrival. The majority of community judges express how much they enjoyed this experience and how, after seeing these students compete, they have renewed hope for America.
During the tournament, competition rounds occur from early morning through the evening. Judges are scheduled for time slots that fit best within their schedules. Please allow 3 hours total between orientation, judging, and filling out your ballot. Refreshments are provided.
Of course, if you want to stay longer and judge more rounds that is highly appreciated. Please contact the IPS office for available time slots and more information. Visit www.LogosForensics.org/Schedule to see a listing of tournaments.
Thank you for giving your time to help the future of these students!
