There’s one fundamental question lying at the heart of every political debate, whether spoken or unspoken.  And that is:  “What is the proper role of government?”

It doesn’t matter what the issue is.  It could be fiscal policy, health care, abortion, disease prevention, foreign affairs, you name it.  All government action hinges on the answer to this question. 

Unfortunately, most Americans today think government is supposed to do far more than it was created to do.  But as Christians, how do we answer this question?
