As opposed to strategies and techniques for winning a debate round, this conference encourages students to first consider lessons from history as well as principles of government and economics.

By bringing together top experts on the debate resolution, competitors develop head-knowledge, acquire resources, and generate case ideas.  But even more importantly, students get a fresh look at government policy from a principled point of view.
